I see you

I must be dreaming a dream
and if it is so, I ain’t wanna wake up!
But wake up I must and get back
to the utter grossness of reality;
and yet when I open my eyes
my eyes desire that it’s you I would see.

The best of the lot needs no convey
It’s all in the signs, ain’t need the say.
I have painted my walls bright enough,
the shine I seek but I will never see.
Let it be strands of chemical imbalance;
Let it be me who is trapped in this avalanche.

My only relief outta this hearty outrage
is in the melody I create outta six strums.
I’ll await as the seasons come and go
for a different chord, rattles and hums.
Qualms I shall try notta have any,
’cause that’s what appears to be a duplicacy.

What I see now is like the coldness of the winter
like a dim light through the misty vapour
I shall still be seeking you.
You come every time in my dreams
and yet when I open my eyes,
I desire to see you, forever with me!
